Olympic Opening Ceremony

Come celebrate the live opening of the 2016 Summer Olympics at the Rio Olympic Downtown Celebration. Activities include a live broadcast, entertainment (acrobatics, trampolines, flame eaters, gravity stunts, circus performers), Samba dancers, Copeira, Olympians, Hot Air Balloons, Food vendors and more! Takes place on Friday, August 5 2016 from 5:00-10:00pm in Downtown Colorado Springs.

The Waldo Waldo Run

The Waldo Waldo Run is a family friendly 5k — where thousands of people are all dressed as the iconic Waldo! Participate in this costumed fun run for $35/person (with costume included) on October 22, 2016. Money goes towards restoring Waldo Canyon. Labor Day Lift Off

Whether dawn or dusk — come view over 50 hot air balloons decorate the Colorado landscape. Throughout the day activities demonstrated will be skydiving, wakeboarding, paddle boarding, live entertainment — and of course beer gardens for the adults.
